Hi everyone!

I'm a Junior/Medium dressage rider from Spain studying in London and I'm looking for a place where I can keep up with my riding. My horse is back at home, so I'm looking for a place where they have good dressage horses, not far from Central London. I would also be open to share a horse.

I would appreciate some suggestions.

Many thanks,

Hilltop in Barnet has some lessons available on the YO’s dressage horses (think she rides Medium). There’s also Ham House which does classical dressage, don’t think they’re taking on new clients currently but worth keeping an eye on. Trent/Lee Valley have some well-schooled horses, but not proper dressage horses and the lessons are very expensive. Alternatively, you can get to Talland via a train from Waterloo, they're a very good classical dressage school. It’s a little far out but worth it from what I’ve heard.

If you’re looking to do 2/3 days a week, there’ll be plenty of share options available for you. Best places to look are preloved and on the FB group ‘London Horse and Pony’.

Thank you so much! Talland seems like the perfect place, unfortunately it's over three hours away from London by public transport.
I have recently came across Wild Farm, any thoughts? I wish there were more similar options...

Yes, sorry was thinking of Lomond not Talland. There’s also Fernhill in that area.

Haven’t heard of a Wild Farm. Do you mean Wildwoods on the Surrey border?

one of the instructors currently at Lea valley riding school specialises in dressage. the horses are variable depending on the level you are assessed at.
