A bit of a personal question, I know, but which pants do you ride in for dressage? And why?

I'm fed up with mine either rubbing, chaffing or disappearing into places they really shouldn't be...:)

I use plain cotton "boy short" style knickers (M&S often have them at 3 pairs for £10!) - flesh coloured under white breeches if competing. Very comfortable indeed!

once when i got on to demonstrate a horse for a buyer i split my trousers front to back! couldnt ride without pants after that lol. the poor people were so embarrased as they could see my pants as i trotted round lol:D

I have a really bony butt and it can get quite sore :o Recently invested in Equetech Soft Seat knickers and although they feel a little weird to begin with, my butt is much less sore :)

I did follow a lady jockey a round a P2P one day who split her breeches, she had some very stripey pants on, I think I was second :D

can't edit in my phone but to add to the above, I knocked myself out and lay there with my knickers on show

Very funny!!!

I also have a pair of the Equetech padded gusset ones, they're ok. I usually go for the boy-style briefs as well, they stay where they should. Thongs for riding - errr, for me no thanks!!
