Dressage venues North West area

Ive finally decided Ive got to get out and do something and I cant seem to find anywhere to go

. Anybody know of anywhere in the Lancs/North West/Manchester area towards the end of April?
Croft Top used to do regular unafilliated dressage on a Wednesday I think but its monthly now and not on til May. I know its not long off but I was sat talking about this in Feb and it feels like the years flying by. Im expecting my horse to be a complete wally so the less spooky the venue the better. Our last attempt started by him dragging the boards up, going backwards in an attempt to get away from the spooky drinks machine in the corner!!

Friend mentioned Alan Fazackerlys (sp) yard did dressage comps last year but I cant seem to find anything.

Look on cheshire horse's website - they cover a pretty broad area so might list some things near you.

Addlington is quite good over near Poynton. Work in outdoors, competition indoors and very friendly venue

Is the new Aintree centre doing dressage?

Church Farm do un affiliated dressage, think its usually on one night in the week during the summer, have a look on their website www.churchfarmequestrian.co.uk

Adlington used to do unaffiliated dressage

Bold Heath do unaffil classes but it's next week so you'd have to get a move on with entering!

Otherwise you're looking at the riding and pony club competitions.

Rochdale RC have got one on the 12th April. It's on grass, but it's very well organised and there's lots of space to warm up.

Do you want affiliated or unaffil?

For both there's Cockshot and Bold, plus Myerscough, Osbaldeston, Barton.

Crow wood have started doing affiliated.

Croft RC in warrington have regular monthly unaffiliated.

Honestly there are loads of places to go! Where have you been looking?

Our yard has been doing unaffiliated at the end of each month, may be worth a look at the other events they have on. Its all quite low key etc

Thanks everyone, couldnt get on properly last night so sorry Ive only just replied.
I used to do Rochdale years ago but gave up with the cacky ground. I dont want to travel too far at first ie Osbaldeston, Bold as I had a travelling issue with my boy trying to get him to travel in a trailer and need to get his confidence back now as my friend will take me in her box occasionally but she doesnt seem keen on taking me to Cockshot or Croft???
I will have a look at Church Farm and Barton etc now.
