Terrible of the other rider, shouldnt go anywhere near someone getting on. Personally I tend to get on young horses somewhere quiet, usually back at the trailer using our mounting block (so nothing different). But will mount in the arena if horse more experienced. Ive had the odd explosion on getting on in a busy arena though.

I share a yard with an Advanced dressage rider and she told me that Charlotte Dujardin in the warmup is an experience and a half! She will not give way to anyone, you watch out for her and make sure you don't get in her way!

Haha this makes me feel better about Regionals a few years back, where I did share a warm-up with CDJ* and seemed to find I was always in her way whilst Topaz was deciding that the poo boxes at Somerford were actually, definitely going to eat her! I was mortified that Topaz seemed hell bent on running the Olympic champion, at the time, over , but maybe I was giving her some of her own treatment lol. She was fine about it at the time, whilst I retreated red faced to a 'safe' corner for Topaz to calm down!

*different class but a shared warm-up, that is massive and I think causes more chaos as it's so big people don't seem to know how to ride to the school rules in it!
