Dressage yesterday

Halfpass did a marvelous job of organising and running a dressage comp at our yard yesterday.
We had fantastic turnout with 30 in the walk and trot, 21 in prelim 10 and 7 in novice 21.

I wrote for the judge in the walk and trot test and it gave me a wonderful insight into what the judge see's and comments on

I went into P10 with young Axey and after our initial spook at the judges car he was lovely and we came 4th with 60.9%
I was 2nd to go in N21 so put my spurs on, had a quick canter round and went in. Axey was a star, and did a fab test which left us on 65.9% and lying 2nd, until the last person went in and just pipped me into 3rd. Was over the moon as that was our 2nd ever Novice and the 1st one he did was back in march and we scored 54%

Yes I know, how weird is that! We are at the same yard now and really good friends

OH no not this again. When all the 'halfpass' business came about there was a really long post about it wasn't there!
Yesterday was fab and you and Axel were great roll on next year for our little dressage series, lets hope it is as popular!

Do you know what Weezy I think you are right. My OH doesn't need to ask who I have been with now he just says ' hows Sam today'.
It is really strange coz we arranged to meet up soon after all the Halfpass business went on and it took us ages to actually get together but when we did we just got on so well Sam is such a good friend now
