For some reason our spaniel is dribbling saliva out of one corner of his mouth, i keep wiping it and 5 minutes later another string appears. Any ideas please.

Exactly this happened to Flyn (ESS), started drooling from one side - I looked in his mouth thinking that perhaps he had a bad tooth but couldn't find anything. A day or two later it got worse and he was obviously very uncomfortable.
Eventually found a large lump in his throat and took him to vets - he had an abcess in his throat that ruptured out under his tongue - Poor Flyn, must have been agony!
But once it burst and drained he was right as rain again in a day or two!

My yellow lab did this and he had tooth ache and had to have a tooth removed by the vet. He was fine after that.

Is your dog ok in himself? Dribbling can be a sign of pain or stress. Is he eating and drinking ok?

Fruity,Ben seems ok in himself, although since my Mum died 2 weeks ago he has been a bit quite, but not off his food.
