Does anyone or has anyone driven one of these horseboxes? Any good or bad thoughts on them?

I am thinking about getting one to travel 1 horse (16.1) that weighs 560kg.

Does anyone that uses these to travel one horse ever take the partition out so the horse can stand more central?

Thanks!

We have one but its 2.5ltr. Wife loves it. Drives like a car and she happily toddles all over the country in it.
Previously had a 7.5t and she didn't like that too much.
No problem taking partition out but make sure you cross tie so horse cant turn around.

I have one but think it is 2.5 litre. I love mine. I have a 15.1 cob who weighs 504 kg and he travels really well in it. I do take another horse in it with him sometimes but am very careful about the weight. I have payload of 1.180 tonnes so can't take two horses with all the rest of the gear.. Just me and the horses, everything else goes in the car.

But I go everywhere in mine with my boy. It is dead easy to drive and do everything yourself. I could take out partition but never have to travel mine.

Love mine.

I have a 2.2 LDV 3.5t, it is brilliant to drive but can struggle up steep hills with two horses, but a lot of bigger lorries will as well. Mine leans a little as it's quite high, rather than the newer low ones. It barely costs a thing to run.

When I'm just travelling my one, he's 17.1hh, I leave the front partition in and lock the back partition over to the side so he has a large triangle area which he prefers and puts him over the centre so it is better balanced x
