Hi!
I heard from a friend that people without the correct license (after 1997) can still drive a 7.5 t if they have someone over 25 with the correct license ie mum or dad with them. Is anyone able to clear this up for me?
Many Thanks

You also need to undergo a medical in order to obtain your provisional. This can be quite expensive, my daughter paid over £100 for hers.

Shop around for the medical,.

Good advice, phone up a HGV training school and they will normally give you the number of a doctor they use, who will be a lot cheaper.

If you have your provisional you can drive with someone who has a licence pre- 1997, however you are not allowed to drive with livestock on board on a provisional! so you would not be allowed to transport your horses on L plates...
