I am interested in what driving bits are available, and what each one does. I drive donovan in a mullen mouth butterfly, but on the bottom hole he overbends, and the top hole he is very strong so may be looking for something different.
Which bit do you drive in, and why?:)

I don't drive these days as my old boy is now 34 years old. He is 15.3hh and I think a part-bred CB. Very strong but a fantastic driving horse.

I always drove him in a Liverpool, rough cheek. Very rare for me to move down a hole on the bit. You can vary the settings with a Liverpool

Liverpool acts with poll pressure they are aviable with many different mouthpieces mine goes in a smooth curved mouthpiece .
You have several different option of where to put the rien to vary its action .
I also use the Wilson snaffle a jointed one and I drive him in a kk snaffle as well and a myler snaffle .
