Being a rider all my life, I never had this issue before when buying a lorry.

here goes:

I will be selling my much loved horse box in the spring time. I do not want to sell but have too now as, as I am into driving I cannot get my trap in as partitions are heavy to move.

So what do you girls have in your boxes for your carriages. What sort of box did you get??

What things will I need to make sure it has when I start looking???

Any tips?

thanx

Hiya

Not sure what type of carriage you have, but a winch is usually a must in your horsebox if you have a 4 wheeler. Also plenty of harness racks to hang all your harness, traces, reins etc. :-)

gr8 advice

do you have to have winch installed or are they an extra.

At the moment I just have the robinsons 2 wheeler pony trap

gr8 I will take some of the bridle racks of the old one but also get harness ones too thanx.

Winches are an extra, but if you look on driving sites for 2nd hand lorries they will often already have them fitted. You will be fine without one for a little 2 wheeler. When you upgrade to a larger vehicle (which I'm sure you will :-) ) the winch helps you to get it up and down the lorry ramp without it getting out of control. Oooh and one of those on-the-wall whip holders are useful too!

Don't forget to show us all pics of the new lorry once purchased!!
