Hi,
I have a miniature shetland who we have broke to drive, He had a webbing bridle and small egg butt snaffle bit in which has always been a little big, but he accepted it ok and hasn't pulled anything as yet as we are long reining and putting in the basics 1st.
We have bought him a new Zilco SL Bridle and this is now fitting lovely.
Problem I have is the bit... His mouth measures at 3 1/2" so definitely need to get a new one but what type? He has a very soft tiny mouth and I can only find large metal driving bits, I ideally was thinking of a rubber bit but these are all straight bar which i think would be a bit too severe for him, as he pretty much goes off voice commands rather than ever having to feel the reins very much, I don't want to harden his mouth can anyone offer any advice on what type I should get?
Many thanks

Liz and Brandy snaps :)
