I have been thinking about driving for some time, but due to circumstances never got around to it. I had a nice coloured Sect D cross and was going to break him to ride/drive. Unfortunately, this never happend as I sold him 3 years ago.

My circumstances have changed again and I'm not going to be able to ride until August

So, I thought that while I cant ride, it does not mean that I cant learn how to drive

With the view of getting a nice little C/traditional D that has already been broken to harness/ride in a few years time.

My question is where would be the best place to learn? I feel and adventure coming on

Go for it - driving is great fun and a brilliant social. I have found them (driving people) some of the most helpful and friendly of all.
If your Kent base try Sara Howe at Bradbourne
or Surrey base Pippa Basset.

What about Alva Evans (spelling?) I know she used to run driving course from her yard at Eastling. If you need a phone number I can probably get one for you.
