Can anyone tell me what kind of shackle this is? Came on the end of Zilco GB traces but I don't recognise them. Will be swapping for quick release anyway but I'm just curious.

Haven't seen anything like that before, but maybe they have been used to add a length of chain where traces were too short for the vehicle, or for a harrow or similar.

I did wonder if they were for chains...

Absolutely no idea how to remove them ? will get OH on the case.
