Driving question

I am wanting to break my mare to harness and wondered if someone could tell me the type of cart/trap i would need for everyday driving and also how much that would cost?

You need to start with a 2 wheel vehicle. How muh it will cost depends really. I have a lovely little 2 wheeler which i use for breaking in and everyday use that cost just £200, but for a nice Bennington/Bellcrown 2 wheeler 2nd hand you'll be looking at around £800.

i paid £250 for a breaking trap & harness (eneither of which really fitted my boy) once he was driving i brought a 2nd hand BellCrown for £650 & a Tedman Tedex harness for £299

A good second hand 2 wheeled Bennington will cost more like £1000 + as they are known to be worth their value but yes a cheap 2 wheeled carriage for breaking costing aorund £150-£250 is good enough

Seriously, to start off, you can get a decent web harness for about £85 and a basic cart for £350.
