driving shetlands

could anyone advise me what wieght an 8hh shetland can pull on wheels?

I've been told our little chap was broken to drive and i was wondering about useing him to deliver muck around the village in a little cart but i have no idea what kind of wieghts he would cope with...?

Well cute :) Looks a solid sort :) the very LW mini horses take adults in 2 wheelers, maybe could take more, our small standard shetlands will take 2 adults and a 4 wheeler :)
 
aaaawwww so cute!!! :) he should be very able to pull 2 wheel cart around, just start him slowly and only put on a bit to start with to see how well he handles it. my friend drives shetlands and 2 can pull 2 wheel cart with her and her daughter with ease. but only do what you think he can cope with and take it slow x
