Driving shetlands!!!

Advice please...... I am looking to buy and bring on a pair of shetland's, but know sure if I should go for mini pair or standard.... eventually for showing and driving trials (indoor and out) I had a single standard a few years back and he was amazing.... but bit worried as our yard is surrounded by big hills.... can you let me know your experiences and options and any photos would be very much appreciated. Thanks x

Id go for standards if you can. I have a mini and a standard and i know people do drive minis but mine is a fairly frail creature compared to my standard.

We have a mini x standard, works pretty well!

Get standards then you can do all the way up to national HDT but still small pony indoors

Agree with rara, you are likely to struggle with outdoors with minis but standards could easily do both as a pair.
