Drones - is it only me (& my horses) that are worried?

No I am not back tracking - as I said - if you shot mine down then you would be taken to court as we follow the regulations. I have to say though that they must have been damn good flyers because if they were flying out of eye sight and only 4 ft above a roof then that is tough to do, especially without knowing where cables are. I suppose a good story should never be spoilt with facts though ;-)

of course you aren't.

Do you have extra verifiable facts about a situation where you weren't present? FF hasn't said it was out of eyesight? And If it wasn't they were automatically against regs anyway :rolleyes3:

Dinozzo the regs seem to say within 50m of any vessel, vehicle or structure (or person) not under the control of the operator.

Please dont accuse me of lying, I take great exception to this!
Also, nowhere have I mentioned cables - there aren't any, but of course you appear to know this already, also you are not in full knowledge of my yard layout and location - as you 'assume' in your post above.

Supercilious, self righteous persons really are irritating me this morning :rolleyes3:

.

'and completely obscured from said public track' - I do believe that obscured in this context refers to out of sight?

No you did not mention cables - I am saying that no one is going to fly their expensive craft without clear sight 4ft above buildings because there MIGHT be cables. They did not know, I do not know, no one who has not walked on your yard would know if there were cables. Not sure if I have to state the obvious but hey ho will do anyway. Cables are lethal for drones and they are near on impossible to see through the camera. Hope that clears up that misunderstanding. Perhaps you should put cables up where there are none. Of course I am not accusing you of lying that would be a terrible thing to do. Supercilious and self righteous - nope - just facts my dear, just facts backed up with more fact.
