wondering if anyone has seen a horse with a droopy face before, a pony I saw today has what appears to be a paralsyed eye and problems with the side of his mouth, lips and tongue. I think he was blind in the eye and appeared to have little or no feeling anywhere on that side of his face.
Do horses have strokes or can this be a symptom of something else.?

It happened to one of mine too, a long time ago. The symptoms seemed like Bell's Palsy in humans. One side of the face, including the ear, was affected, but there was no pain apparent. She could eat on one side only. She was seen by the vet who gave her an injection (I cannot remember what). She was kept in for a few days, then let out and was well within a couple of weeks. It never happened again.
