I wonder if they actually mean something like upwardss fixation of the patella??? When a horse walks if the patella is locking then they will drag it along until the patella frees up. Very strange - who is going to call the seller to find out??
I may be posting COMPLETELY in error here - but that horse looks so very much like a horse I was interested in, being sold by Ricky Gradley in Essex back in Feb. It was advertised at around £3.5k but then reappeared on horsemart a few weeks later having failed the vet as being unsuitable for it's purpose (SJ). It's awfully similar.
A hundred apologies if it's completely unrelated... thesimilarity in appearance struck me is all.
That is a seriously lovely looking horse!
But obviously something seriously dodgy going on there if its turned away etc!
AND I bet it jolly well does have papers! and that the owner doesnt want to reveal the papers so that prospective buyers wont be able to track the horse's history down..
He looks lovely - I am at work so can't call as will get in trouble but please someone put us out of our misery and find out what is wrong.. he is so handsome!
horse has been sold... girl not very helpful, a dropped leg... is where in trot it looks like his back leg gave way a little, a bit like when we get up and have a cramp type of thing! wasnt there in walk and cante and the horse had done a bit of everything!
