Does anyone have any experience with a horse (yearling) with one severely dropped pastern, severe as in when walking the fetlock was almost touching the ground. I wasn't sure whether this was from birth or from an injury but is not like anything I have seen before. Is a yearling too old to try and correct/improve the problem, I have seen it in foals and am pretty sure it should be treated within a few weeks if it doesn't come right but I'm not sure I have ever seen it in only one leg. Anyone with any suggestions?
