I'm so cruel! Can you believe how nice the weather was, I reckon they'd be fine running badminton, Andy could lead the way! :D

Took the boys in this pond, started off just walking through it but Andy had the excellent idea of cantering, soaking me in the process! :L We then took them into another pond and got a bit worried when the water got well above my feet!!

If it's any consolation I was probably wetter than him when I got to the yard and had to explain to everyone why I was walking around in my socks because my boots were too wet.

He loved it! Definitely don't have issues at water jumps, no he didn't smell after the water was lovely and clear before we went stomping in it! :p

Just look in all your local riding fields, you'll probably find one with all this weather we've been having! We had lovely weather today though, didn't get cold once! :D

I personally see it as punishment for leading me to believe he was clean today:

Only to see the other side of him

That looks awesome fun :D definitely need to find something similar round here :p he must be part hippo

Your going to hate me but the first picture of andys rug is worse than the yellow ponys that he has worn all winter :p. I dont think any fields round here are that bad, the joys of the fens, its all gone in the drainage ditches :( could do with some water schooling.

Since it's almost certainly going to be vile on thursday, we could take the boys out and go find some floods down here iuw? (or are you in Cambs this week, I can't remember :o )

Wow - if only... my boy is still dancing round puddles! I have been taking revenge though as our usually 'stoney' yard has some BIG puddles in it for once...he had to do some puddle standing this weekend...wish I'd had a camera..he didn't like me very much!

I like Andy - love the name too!

You could make your own flood with a series of dams might be more effort than it's worth though. :p

He certainly loves the water, I think he really just wants to role in it. :p If it's any consolation he used to dance around puddles and wouldn't go anywhere near a water fence and now he is more than willing. :)

I could dam the stream in the byway, but I might be lynched by the other users  :D:D Would be amusing though :p

Awesome dh :D Sorry Kokopelli, shameful hijacking. It's practically like bullying, y'know. Sowwwy :o

Haha get off my thread you bullys ;)

Hope you get lots of piccies if you go, and word of advice put your phone in a ziplock bag, mine was in my boot and got soaked! :p

Gimme your lunch money or I'll lamp you  :D

thanks for the tip :p I will take the camera if I can find a means of carrying it without it getting drenched... I should buy a saddlecloth with pouches actually, I've wanted one for ages... *toddles off to ebay* :D

We have a pond where Harvey is and when the edges over flowed last week I cantered through bareback was great fun :) The pond is about as deep as yours in the middle and in the summer I walk through it fortunately he doesn't canter like Andy I hot splashed enough just going through the shallows! Funny given all the things he doesn't "do" water isn't one of them!
