Drumcross Spurrs - Coloured sports horse stallion!

Ah I love this little stallion - he has super confirmation and a super temperament. I tried to put my ISH mare to him, however the AI failed and I decided it was not meant to be.

imo he is lovely and versatile and a thoroughly modern sport stallion who should produce a good alround sport horse. Oh your lucky friend!!

He is a lovely horse. I last saw him when he was rising 4 when a friend used him in his first season and he was absolutely precious....turns out next to other stallions and just an absolutely lovely all round stallion. The only thing I have been disappointed in is that he hasn't done more in ridden work but he seems to be in quite a bit of demand at stud as well as the owners being busy with the other horses they have at stud as well. But definitely a lovely all round stallion if that is what you are looking for!

I have a horse by Crossdrum Spurs, who is Drumcross's sire. He is a lovely compact horse a jumps like an absolute stag (which he has been recently demonstrating by jumping out his field dispite the 5ft high electric taping!)

Wish your friend the best of luck with hers. Any chance of you posting a photo? I've been thinking about putting a tb mare to him so would love to see what he looks like.

My friend also had a gelding by Crossdrum Spurs who was an amazing jumper. He was like a rubber ball and could turn on a sixpence!

Oh, he is so smart! Going to have to pursuade Seren to grow a bit so that she can have his foal! :) Or buy myself a mare to put to him! He's beautiful! Your lucky lucky friend! His youngstock are tidy too! xx

I will ask her this evening if its ok :)

I bought a filly by Crossdrum Spurs last summer. Completely unhandled yet so so easy to do. Mine was out of a TB mare. Temperament wise I would definitely have one again. They usually do have a good jump in them too but are ideal for PC/RC eventer types due to temperament. Will post pics of mine if I can dig some out. She was gorgeous, good basic conformation, slightly upright in the neck and a little longer in the pastern than id like but still quite decent. She is now in a showing home.

My Wife has a foal from Millenium Star Crossdrum spurs baby, Her name is Mileniums Breeze, Sh e has marking just like her grandad

Does anyone know much about the above mentioned stallion? A friend of mine has just bought a youngster by him out of a thoroughbred mare.
