My horse has a dry patch on one side of his withers where the saddle pad would be. I thought at first it was lice but no loss of hair and doesn't seem to be spreading. It looks like dandruff.
Any ideas?
I would give him a wash with Dermoline medicated shampoo and see how it goes. Keep an eye on it and if it doesn't improve speak to the vet. Check for ringworm.
