My horse goes mad for cow parsley. I pick armfuls of the stuff but obviously it goes limp quite quickly and the season doesn't last long. Has anyone tried and had success drying it so you can feed it at a later time?

Yes. I do for my rabbits. You need mesh panels or pallets under cover, lay it out on there for a few weeks, you can lie several plants on top of each other but too thickly. It will need turning every little while as well.2

Alternatively tie bundles up from a rafter and have them hang to dry.

Oh I was wondering this today. I can’t keep on top of my rabbits greens so any tips like this are fab!
Btw, is feeding veg/weedy grassy stuff an acceptable alternative to hay which mine are not keen on teeth wise?

Grass/hay/low calorie high bulk forage options e.g tree bark are pretty much the same thing - wild rabbits don't eat hay either
fwiw my house buns' hay consumption is quite low in summer, their diet is 90% forage and the occasional banana skin ? then they eat more hay in winter when there's less stuff around to forage. I sometimes wonder if my way of doing it is wrong, it seems so different from the handful of greens/spoonful of pellets/hay from a bag that seems to be encouraged, but the vet is always exceptionally complementary about their health when they go for their vaccinations.
