Drying rugs?

What works best? I need to something to dry off the spaniel after he's worked. He's often chucked into the car crate in a which isn't heated or the kennel. I do towel dry him first!

Shell out for a thermatex? Fleece (his equitheme one doesn't seem to be great at drying him off)? Towelling rug? Something else?

i have equafleeces for mine (the polo neck jumpers are fab) and a thermatex for when i want my dog to resemble a show pony! the thermatex does a great job at drying, i used to put it on my mums elderly lab who with her super thick coat would have stayed wet for ages without it. but for the short haired skinnies the equafleeces do the job just fine and warm them up quickly!
