Dubarry boots or something else? Help please!

Haven't had a pair before, they have only just grown on me! I have read a lot of older posts and some people say they are not worth the money and some say they are the best thing ever. I want them for general all round wear. Help please! Or recommend something else. Thanks

I really want some, and I think that even with the £250 price tag you get what you pay for. I have a friend who NEVER takes them off. Other brands do knock-offs but they don't look the same.
