Hey Guys,

Just a quick onem i'm after a pair of Dubarry's for xmas. But a firend of mine has said hers were rubbish and not worth the money! but i've heard other reports of them lasting for years! What are you're experiences? Worth the cash???

Thanks in advance!

same here! i got some for my bday in october and i live in them, love them!!!

They are fantastic. Well worth the money (although I did scam the OH into buying mine

) I wear them walking the dogs and they keep my feet warm and dry, yet they scrub up good as new to wear to the pub.

I've worn (and trashed) mine nearly every day for a year now and they still look fab (when I clean them

) no leaks, no cracks, nothing.

I have pretty much trashed mine in the year I've had them and they do now leak, but hoping I can rewaterproof them as the leather hasn't actually cracked. I got them dirt cheap so not too bothered but if I'd paid full price then I'd be raging!

Had mine 2 yrs this xmas, fab. Have only just cleaned them as wore them on the beach and in the sea in oct. Don't leak yet and still look really nice wi fluffys if your out to the pub.

Take them to the Dubarry stand and they'll probably give you a new pair - If you haven't damaged them then it might be a manufacturing fault?

Love mine and have worn them nearly everyday for the past 3 years and still going strong. Use them for walking, yard work, riding and teaching. They are slightly starting to crack above the bottom of the toe area (where they bend when walking) and have bought a few pairs of new insoles as the old ones are totally gone! To be honest havent looked after them as well as i should have! def good buy.

Don't know if this is too late for this thread now but i have had so many problems with them I can't recommend AT ALL. I am now on my 4th pair in 2 years, admittedly they have been replacd by Dubarry each time, but it is always a fight & I had to wait 9 weeks for the last pair. Every pair has leaked after about 3-4 months despite being looked after & treated with Dubarry products. I guess if you want to wear them to events to look good they are fine, but they can't stand up to any yard work and Dubarry have now added this to their literature as a disclaimer.
