Dubarry boots

Wonder I if anyone could shed some light on this for me. I recently bought a pair of Dubarry Claire boots off the internet. I own two other pair that were purchased from Dubarry. These were not. There are differences between the new ones and mine and I'm beginning to think they might be fakes. Both my other pairs have loops inside to help pull on. The new ones do not. The new ones have a zipper in the back that goes maybe half way up I suppose to help put on. Although both of my other pair have an area that allows the boot to stretch when putting on, there is no zipper. The label on the bottom inside is different also. And on the bottom on the outside the insignia is also different. Also the cut out behind the knee isn't cut the same. My two pair that I bought directly from Dubarry are identical but I didn't buy at the same time. There's probably three or four years between them. This is my first time buying off internet and may be my last. Any help would be appreciated.

Take a photo of them, send to the parent company and check whether they are genuine.

I am sure they will want to know if there are knockoffs in the market using their branding. They will be able to confirm whether your new boots are genuine.

My first pair of Clare had the zipper to help ease the boots on, when I bought a new pair the dealer said the zips were changed to elastic because the zips kept breaking because the would get a lot of crap stuck in them like mud or shavings, I still wear the ones with the zips but both zips broken so I just leave them undone as it doesn’t mak any difference as they are well worn, only use my new ones if need to be smarter.
