Dubarrys/ariats or similar..

I am not a Dubarry fan, have had stacks of problems with them and to cut a long story short am on my 4th pair in 2 years. If you just want them for out & about and looking good then they are fine but they cannot cope with yard work. I have also had Ariat Grasmere and these are fantastic, much more hard wearing but the only downside is the faff doing them up!

I use toggi columbus and I am on my 4th winter now (wear them winter summer snow mud and ride in them). I have biggish calves and hate not being able to get long boots off easily, these are really easy to slip out of. I cannot fault these boots yet.

I have got dublin river boots and so far am impressed with them, comfy for riding in though still prefer riding boots to school in x

I have Dubarry's and I love them! I think the ones I bought you're not technically meant to ride in but I very occasionally do and they're ok. But they're excellent for wearing round the yard

I've got ariat mudbusters, they're like wellies, so not fancy looking, but they are fantastic! I had my last pair for 2 years, and wore them everyday for yard chores, riding, walking the dogs, and paddling at the beach! this also includes using them for 3months whilst I worked at a riding stables! Have just got a new pair and I love them so much!!

I am a fan of Ariat boots, got the Grasmere which I wear most of the time, they are so comfy and great for riding in, plus I've got the Bromonts (think thats the name?) Never had Dubarry so can't comment

I've got the Tuffa Suffolk Boot which are fab, come in broad leg as well, and believe me they are broad. I think they do a similar boot called the country boot which are more designed to be ridden in as they have a smaller sole.

I have Dublin River boots which are now about worn out having been worn every day for 10 months, no problem with the lining in mine but they were not waterproof.

Just had a pair of Harry Hall Yale boots from Equestrian Clearance who had a load of seconds in. Worn them a couple of days now and they are very comfy, prefer them to the Dublin boots.

I love my Ariat grasmere's.

When i bought them i tried on Duberry's first but i didn't think they were as comfortable as the ariats.
