Thinking of getting a pair as my cheapy dublins starting to age I take a 7 with 16'' calves looking at gal ways will I fit normal width or require wider? Thanks

You sounds about the same size as me and I have plenty of room in the regular width.

I had the extra fit ones - I wanted the liner socks with the fluff on the top so had them a bit wider. Easy to get on and off, unlike my friend who has much narrower calves and has to get someone to pull them off

Sorry just noticed you are a size 7. You should be fine. I have very small feet and wide calves!

The tab on them says made in Portugal don't they make them in Ireland?

Now made in Portugal but that has to be better than made cheaply in China like Dublin River Boots which are leakier than a government department.
