As per the title really....was just wondering how Snowy was after his dental work? Was going to PM but figured there are loads of us who are following his progress so it was in the publics interest to be nosey on open

I did an update on the blog about the dentists visit as I was worried about boring everybody to tears with my continual updates.

He seems very comfortable and happy in himself, and when we turn up at the paddock now, he screeches out to us excitedly and comes thundering over to greet us.

And the latest update is........................

My youngest daughter Abbi rode him yesterday!!

We had taken some tack along, to do a little lunging with him, as he is still quite weak on his hind legs. Abbi just 'happened' to have her hat with her (yeah, right...

), and she hopped aboard and walked him gently around the top paddock.

She wasn't dressed for the occasion(
wink.gif
), and was instructed NOT ride him in an outline or get a good contact, because of my concerns about his healing mouth etc, but he was as good as gold bless him.

Given his diet, I was expecting him to fire off across the field with her, never to be seen again, but he was an absolute angel, and I was really really chuffed!

That horse looks a million times better doesn't he???

He also looks very content.

Just going through my knitting needles - do you want fine knit, or a looser knit?
Also, I can't seem to find that red wool, so you may have to have a multi-coloured mohair one....

Awww Dubs....this has made me smile...and well up at the same time. You are doing such a fabby job with him, he looks so settled and a much happier chap all round.

And bless Abbi.....coincidence to have her hat with her I think not!!

I doubt that any of us could ever get bored of hearing about his progress, so please don't be shy to let us know how he's getting on.
