Dublin Clothing - sizing question

i dont have one of their jackets, but do have a fleece top. normally im an 8, but got a 10, cos the arm and back length was quiet small. might not be the same for jackets, but i would maybe say one size up,

I've just got a blouson jacket from them - apparently S is 8-10, M is 12-14 etc etc, I'm normally an average size 10, but got a medium and altho it is a little large I don't think I'd risk getting the smaller one. It fits comfortably over my back protector.

I think I have an xs whic is an 8. I have a s fleece which is an 8 but a s gilet which is more like a 10. Can you tel I love my Dublin clothes?!!

I have 2 Dublin Jackets and 1 Waiscoat ... I hasten to add that I have had them about 3 years tho but still looking like new!
For a comparison, I would wear a size 10 show jacket for a 'nice fit' but my cough cough 'upper bits' would be classed as a size 12, as I am a bit 'top' heavy, although quite slight overall ....
The jackets are a size S and are VERY generous and allow me to wear many layers underneath and still feel comfortable.
However the waiscoat is quite a snug fit and is a size M.
So I would imagine that their Jackets are generous, however the more fitted type of items, Waiscoats, tops etc are your true size

Hope this help.

That's a great help.

It's the Caufield 5 in 1 jacket that has an inner jacket that's more snug in it. I'll go more for my true size then, off your size recommendations, and hope that the inner jacket is an ok fit.
