I thought the 3 yr ld was very impressive for his age. Cappa Cassanova was a worthy winner and Gortfree hero has some front on him! Also Ballineen It's William getting loose was scary but entertaining in hindsight when no one/nothing got hurt. I thought Heigh Ho Dubh looked very well. He has so much substance. The 4 yr old roan was very plain though, I don't want to imagine what kind of a head he'll put on things! Gurran Zindane is a very good looking horse but a bit light for an RID inmho.
There was a seriously 'traditional' stallion in the performance Irish Draught. i only seen him in the stable, he's number 341 Millhollow Real McCoy? Did you see him in action? Just wondered what his movement was like.
I thought in the TB's Pointilliste was head and shoulders above everything there.
Is that Inisfree the Holy Grail? I think he'll be hard to beat in a few years, he's gorgeous. I was so scared when that stallion got free, but in the end he gave up quite quickly! The owners of Gurraun Zidane have bought Roma Caen Hill Flight, I wonder what he's like. All in all, 17 stallions isn't enough for me!
I didn't see the performance draughts unfortunatly
Very nice to see so many side by side though, makes comparing them much easier.
I was surprised Inisfree the Holy Grail didnt get placed at all, looked amazing & will certainly be one to watch in years to come. He had the most beautiful head.
Gortfree Hero has such presence, & has a great performance record being also a Grade a showjumper! Cappa Cassanova looked very well this year & this win was coming for him!
