Hi
I bought some river boots last december for my mum for xmas. However, by January we realised they weren't fully waterproof, but me being silly didn't do anything about it. Now in August they are letting water in and have lost all their shape and as a result of this can't be warn without rubbing and looking tacky.
I bought them online from countrywide stores and still have the box and receipt.

What can i do becasue i'm really disappointed because they should last at least a year and the cost me about £90 and are useless.
Thanks.

they are nortoriously bad for breaking im not sure about how to go sending them back mine totally were in a none fit state after about nine months but did wear them all day everyday and they literally just fell apart so did my friends as well in the same way

I agree, send them back with a polite covering letter expressing your disappointment. Ask for a refund rather than a replacement as they are faulty - not fit for purpose. Failing that a credit so you can get a different brand of boots!

My Dublin Rivers ripped inside. I contacted Wetherbeeta and they told me to take them back to where I bought them and have them sent back to them. They sent me a new pair which have been fine.

Good luck with that!
I got no-where. Apparently they are perfectly good boots One of there most popular selling items and no-one has ever reported a problem with them before!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah right!

after a month of having mine the insole started coming out to the point where everytime i took my boot off my foot would be stuck inside the boot! i had to cut the foot off the insole so i could get it on and off. the stitching around the back has completley come out so i have a huge hole in them! they arnt waterproof anymore, my feet get very wet! im very disapointed in them! i had woof wear yard boots aswell that didnt last 5 minutes! i was wearing them 24/7 which they are ovbiously not designed for! i dont work with horses full time anymore so only wear them both ends of the day which i think has made them last a tad longer!

That's exactly what happened to mine! I'll never buy another pair- terrible quality. :(
