as the title says for those of you that have a pair what do you think of them.
id really like dubarry's but as I'm on a budget so id like to know if these are worth spending cash on.
thanks

I haven't got them but as I've got them on my Christmas list I have been paying attention to people's general opinions.

The old style Dublin River boots got a pasting as the linings tended to rip after a short time so they were hard to get on and off.

The new style has been much improved and people seem to give them the thumbs up.

So look out for the new style with the strip of leather up the front. The heel has also been strengthened.

I dont have any, but i have tried on both the dubarrys and dublin river boots and the dublin rover boots seemed to much more comfortable and alot easier to get on IMO.

My daughter has a pair and she says they are really warm and comfortable. They also got soaked with the rain last weekend and have dried out really well.

I bought a pair from HOYS and absolutely love them! Really comfy and keep your feet warm.... Yep, they've got plenty of room for wider calves! Definately worth buying

mixed thoughts. got both dubarrys and dublin, both good in general but both have had problems... dubarrys leaked sent for repair and lining not right now and too short so boot is scrunched up! dublins (second pair) lining has gone again, not easy to get off!! and make your feet sweat! Wouldnt buy either again!

I have a pair, I found they stretched too much and dropped a fair bit. I have quite a slim leg though. The lining hasn't ripped but the stitching at the ankle went but Dublin replaced them.
I quite like them with jeans but never really wear them to ride with jods anymore. They are ok but wouldn't really rave about them tbh. Reasonably warm in the winter but not toasty.
I have just bought the mark todd long winter boots. They are really comfy and really toasty and quite smart looking. I have also had the mountain horse rimfrost riders which were really good too.

I love mine! Have got the old style ones and the lining has come out, but I wear them everyday and I trash boots! General consensus is that this problem (as well as the scrunching up) has been sorted out in the new style boots. I would definitely buy another pair!
