Dublin river boots

Mine lasted one and a half winters but were completely knackered by the end. Lining went, they collapsed through the length and they were NEVER waterproof. Spent last winter suffering wet feet. Pretty but would class them as a fashionable boot, not a work boot.

I have had mine for about 18 months and really rate them, I bought them as glorified willies and have better boots but I have probably worn them everyday, they do look pretty trashed now but are still waterproof. They seem to hold up to so much water and then let it in, I got wet feet when we had very bad snow. I will definitely buy another pair when these give up the ghost.
ETA- I have treated them with that waterproof spray a handful of times so that may have helped.

That automatic spelling changer is a burger innit??

I've had a pair for over 2 years, they get worn several times a week and I love them! The only time they start to feel slightly damp is when I've been out in the pouring rain for 5+ hours. otherwise they are warm, dry and comfortable. I have short calves but not particularly large, but the boots have more than enough room for some thick socks in winter.

pretty much the same happened to mine, but the lining only lasted for about 1 month if that! was not happy considering how much they cost!! :l

I recently bought a pair and although I don't know how many inches my calves are they are not skinny. The river boots fit fine with room for thick socks, although I did go for a size up as they felt a bit tight on my feet in my usual size. I was also told this years model are totally waterproof rather than water resistant as they were in the past so time will tell. Love them so far though.
