Hi All,
I am thinking of buying these - anyone got any, are you happy with them? How is the sizing? I would normally take a 4 in a boot, but have some in a 5, so would you say the sizes came up true or smaller/bigger than normal? Thanks.

I've had these for over a year and had no problems with them at all. I think there very nice boots and very comfy. I take a 6 in shoes but I should of probably got a 5 in these. :)

Doooon't dooo ittttt!!!! Haha. I had a pair of these, the sizings normal and they're comfy until it rains and they leak. And then procede to fall apart around your feet. I am however a known boot wrecker, they should use me to test the strength of boots so they can market them as indestructable if they survive a week on my feet, so I might not be the best person to be commenting :p

I've had mine for nearly 2 years and I love them. After a few months though they did start to leak so I don't bother using them for going into muddy fields, I just keep them for around the yard and riding in. They are really comfortable. I'm a normal size 6 and my boots are a 6 and with thick socks on they fit perfectly. I wouldn't want to wear them with thin socks anyway so they are just right for me.

I can only speak as I find...I LOVE MINE, better than my Dubarrys anyday.
I take a 5 and they have space for big socks, so maybe come up a bit large, but not big enough to go up a size.

Mine survived last winter up to the tops in snow everyday, in minus silly temps (like the twenties) and not once did my feet get cold. I prefer them to my Tynes and wear them everyday now on the yard and in the fields, slosh through puddles and long wet grass and they don't leak, ever - mind, I do tend to smother them with dubbin, that will probably rot them faster than water. I have another two pairs still boxed in reserve, intended to sell them (you can't just walk into a tack store and get them here:() but I don't think I will afterall.

Id go for the Toggi ones if I were you.
The Dublin ones dont last long and fall apart!

I did love mine, but they just dont last. So much so, that my local saddler has stopped stocking them as the Toggi ones are much better and they had so many Dublin ones come back.

BUT, if you do go for the Dublin ones, I found they came up a tad on the large size so went for half a size smaller.

Thanks guys for your opinions.
I had a cheap pair of similar styled boots last year that cost £40, were furry lined and lasted me all winter (and what a winter!) including going into deep mud etc, mucking out, but I literally lived in them, so feel they were good value, although they did split eventually, but I will definitely look after the new boots better.

I loved my Dublin river boots for six wonderful months, they were comfy, warm and waterproof. Then the lining came loose on the right one and I couldn't get my foot out of the blasted boot! It took ages to get the darn thing off as the more I pulled the more it gripped my foot. When I looked at the left boot, the lining was coming loose in that one too. I didn't wear them again and I wont buy them again either. :(

I had exactly the same thing happen about two weeks after I bought mine!

I should of taken them back really, but Im too lazy!!

I have a pair of these, although I have not used them on the yard, I use them for walking etc.

I think they are comfy, but not sure how good they are for constant use on the yard mucking out etc.

Love mine. :D

I've had them a year now, and they are still as good as new.
Used them all last winter on various farms, in rain, snow and ice, and my feet stayed toasty warm and dry.

I can't recommend them highly enough. :)
