Duchy College, Cornwall - Your Experiences

Hi Everyone,
Am currently considering going to Duchy College, in Cornwall and study Equine and Business Management (EBM) Level 3. I went for the interview on Monday and have been given an unconditional place and have been told I'll be in one of the top rides - which I'm so happy about!
However, I was wondering if any of you have been to Duchy or know anything of the courses/college? Any information would be very appreciated. Thank You

I know of one girl who is currently studying there.....all I know is she's really enjoying it and has just passed her stage 1. Sorry I don't know anything else and have not heard anything negative to say

I went to Duchy many moons ago (20yrs ago ! ) infact im going back next month for the reunion.

I did the NCMH (National certificate of the management of horses )

Im sure the college has changed alot scince i was there ,But in my day it was a great place to learn ....being working pupils means that you get to do your share of stable duties ...they were on a rota and you would be allocated horses to look after for a week at a time which means early morning duties ,lunch duties and evening duties as well as your lessons.

It was hard work but i enjoyed my time at the college and i would certainly recommend it to anyone who was thinking of going there
