I think luck was on my side today. I hit three fences in the jump off and they all stayed up.

I only competed in .75 as Murph's hooves and shoes are in desperate need of the farrier. Not quite sure what's happened to them this month. Also had to rush home and sort out yard for a new livery.

Anyway clever Murph came 3rd out of 10 in jump off. I was so pleased with him. Lost my stirrup over first jump in jump off so spent time trying to get it back rather than just keep riding. So could have gone quicker, but really can't complain about 3rd.

Oh i would not have seen you then if you didn't stay for .85!! We got 2 poles down in the jump off which is not bad i guess as Blue has not jumped since March! Going to the next one on 30th?

Oh I was there too! But we did the 85cm and the 95cm, I knocked one in the first round of the 85cm and I stayed up some how! Then just touched one in the 95cm and you guessed it, down it came! But we came 4th in the 85cm so I was well pleased.

Well done on your 3rd!

Yep! LOL you can't miss her, she is twice the size of everyone else! Hee hee

What was your horse like? although I spent most of the day by the lorry, it was busy wasn't it? I've only had my new horse for 1 month and that was her first ever show indoors, she's young & green too so I was chuffed

She did well then!

How old is she?

Do you have quite a small green lorry and were parked over the back? If so you were right next to me - with the red trailer and electric blue navara pick up towing it!!

Took my coloured horse who was rather clumsy in the jump off !

We do have a small lorry but it's blue and silver! I grabbed the last parking space right down the back, had to park in longways next to all the old bales of hay (which my horse thought was much nicer than her £6 a bale haylage!

).

There were loads of coloureds there! LOL, are you going there again? I love Duckhurst, even though it gets so busy and the warm up is dreadful we always have a nice day out there

That's unlucky because loads of people were whacking the jumps and they were staying up!

She is 8 but has done nothing and went from going to one show a year to going out every week! But she's such a good girl and is starting to really enjoy it

You must have been close by still! By all the parked lorries that were fenced off in the corner?

Was going to post a pic of him but can't find one on my computer! He has a lot more brown on him than he does white is about 16hh and still looks a little babyish ! Oh and has one blue eye!

Yes am always at Duckhurst as it is so local to me. Will be there Thursday evening and again on 30th.

Why had she done nothing before? I do remember seeing her actually

Yeah you really can't miss her! Here she is:

She is much slimmer now, as this was when I first tried her out! Though is still humungus!

She hadn't done anything because her owner had her from a 3 yr old and had no time, no transport etc, so she was wasted, hence I have her now! Hoping to BSJA her very soon as that's what I usually do, well did, until my own horse was injured.

Cor lucky you, I wish we were close to anything! We are inbetween Rye & Hastings in East Sussex so have an hr journey to any of the EC's.

Hopefully we will see you around soon then, if you spot us make sure you come and say hello

Thanks Becky, glad Star is getting used to her muzzle. It was very relaxing Saturday sitting on the picnic bench in the sun. Very nice yard too.

Hi Rambo, yes qualified for second rounds. I have done for last three years but don't seem to manage to get into the first 4 at second rounds, reasons being not realising there was a fence 10 (doh), or having a fence down in jump off. Maybe I will qualify this year.

Sorry I missed everyone. I'll be staying for the .85 next time, may go on 30th. So I'll see you there.
