Blue was good he got 5th fence down in the .85 (2nd class) cos he charged at it and jumped flat and we got the last fence down in the .95 cos as we came up to it (big spread) a bird flew out from the left and was flying next to us before disappearing through a crack in the wall and he was too busy watching it and not paying enough attention to the jump! Can't blame him it distracted me too saw it out the corner of my eye!

Was so so busy !! 2nd class started at 1.30pm and we left to go home at 4.30pm!

Hopefully we should be fine at BN on Friday! .95 was built up to height i thought so we should be!

Still feel like he is not listening to me enough though when i jump him. I ride him daily in a full cheek snaffle and at the moment am jumping him in a waterford snaffle... any ideas what i could try next so i don't spend so much time pulling on his mouth to get him to listen? (He ignored my efforts coming up to 5th jump in the .85 hence we got it down !! )

Congratulations!

We did the 75cm and never got home till 3.30pm! Was going to stay for 85cm but thought it would be too long a day seeing as we had been up since about 6am!!!

Crikey if the 85cm never finished until 4.30 I dread to think what time the 1.05m started!!!

Yer i hope he goes fine! Need to slow down slightly though!

Nuh it was the .95 that i did that meant i left at 4.30pm think the 1.05 probably started 5.15pm ish!! 6am?! Lol i got up at 10.15am! Going again this Sunday? Think we are, can't take Blue though on Sunday, will probably take Monty instead.

Yes I might do, but there is a mock hunt here sunday so am tempted to do that

If you see a coloured pony by the name of Life of Riley that's me!!

I think the sand it quite good at Duckhurst - have certainly seen worse - although it does get quite hectic in the warm up arena!
