Took Blue to Trailblazers yesterday which was exciting for him as we haven't been out since the beginning of December!

Was really really BUSY!! Bill did the .85 on Saracen and didn't do too badly with 3 poles down... seeing as he usually gets lost halfway round that wasn't bad for him!

Put Blue in the .95 and he FLEW round it! Knocked a pole in the JO though which sucked a bit so probably came about 7th. Almost jumped the wrong course in the JO cos Blue was so keen! Wanted to do the 1.05 but by the time the .95 finished it was 5.30pm so we decided to go home instead

Do you think if he's flying round the .95 no problem now its time to put him in the Disco at the BSJA shows?

Well done. If you're jumping TB's 95cm, then you'll probably find British Novice about the same at BSJA. That said, if you're jumping 1.05m TB's then i wouldn't see a problem doing a Disco either

Don't forget though that they will go up to about 1.10m in the JO assuming you get there

Well there was a varied lot really! Far too many kids doing my head in though. For example - walking round the practice ring side by side and standing at the bottom so you can only use half of it not to mention whacking the jumps up higher than the class!! Grrr!!

ANYWAY

Yeh he will jump a nice double clear in the BN

and thats smaller than the Trailblazers .95 or seems to be!!

Think he needs a bit more of a challenge...

Fri night was jumping him at home and he cleared a 4ft spread pretty easily with very little help from me and i put up a bounce of cross poles thinking ahha this'll get him as he's never done a bounce before and he'd figured it out the second time we jumped it!! Too clever!

Oh well sounds like he's more then capable of jumping disc and the JO so no harm in trying really

Yer will give it a go, he's got a bit too clever now so the bigger fences may make him think a little more!

Only thing is i can't do show this weekend and i'm away skiing the weekend after so i've gotta wait till the 25th before i can do another show!
