Dumas Sellier saddle - who is it?

Recently I’ve bought a second hand Dumas Sellier dressage saddle. However I couldn’t find any (really any) info about this brand or saddler. The only one thing I know is that it’s from France. The saddle is amazing! Does anyone know anything regarding this brand?

I'm quite sure he's no longer with us, that wasn't my point, was that the saddle was beautiful quality because it's in the Hermes family, I would imagine Roger is son or grandson of Robert, son in law of M. Hermes. Not that it helped you find them, useful having French members! I would beware the thing that is the French tree and close contact panel, not always the best thing for the horse's back.

That is only one saddle in a whole range of different models that was accepted by the saddle fitter. The horse has quite difficult back.

Sbloom, what are the cons of french tree? Are these panels close contact?
