Ok this might seem very stupid so please bare with me...
I am about to buy a prolite girth (fairfax style) but I'm not sure how much overlap I should have onto the under flap of the saddle, if at all.
Girths always used to be so much thinner so there was no real bulk if they came up high and over lapped with the under flap of the saddle but now with them so thick and bulky I'm a little confused as to the best fit!!
So do you have any pics or descriptions of how you would fit a Fairfax style long girth? eg would the end of the girth come up and over the leather of the saddle or would just the 2 buckle tabs cover that?
Any thoughts or pointers much appreciated
Thanks
