Dumb question alert

I've been using a John Whitaker lunging bungee thing when lunging my daughters pony, I attach it to a surcingle. I see people use them when riding with the rein going in between their front legs. Question is how do they attach it? Mines got clips which I'm sure aren't big enough to stay on if attached to the girth.

Mmm..well I use a cheapy rubber bungee and attach the clips to the bit and loop the girth through the other end. If I feel technical the adjustable slidey thing can sit on the poll...how clear is that, sorry, maybe someone more lucid will come along soon!!

Assume theres a D-ring attatchment on their girth?or use a draw rein attatchment that slides over the girth?

Tie a loop of baling twine round girth and clip bungee to that (assuming your girth doesn't have a dee ring in the middle).
