Dumb question! inhand bridle.........

Can you ride in one?
Won one on ebay, came through today - to be used on my young cob who i am long reining/backing etc............and happens to be a very smart inhand bridle!!
Can you ride in one??? daft question?!

I don't see why not. The height of the noseband obviously cannot be adjusted, but the rest of it will work just fine!

When I was a kid in the mid-late seventies, we rode a lot in in-hand bridles cos they were the cheapest to get from the sales at the time.

If it fits the horse well, no reason why not, not that much different to long reining.
Lots of horses rather like them including one of mine - and if you have ever seen a Spanish bridle that is the same principle with the integral noseband.
