So I'm finally bringing my horse back. I haven't actually looked after her yet so I don't know her well. (That's another very long story). She is stressy and doesn't cope with changes well so I wanted to be forearmed if there are any dummy guides to feeding to prevent ulcers. She'll be out 24/7 but I was thinking hardfeed / supplements. She'll get haylege/hay before any work.

I'll obviously going to do research but just wondered if there was any good resources that anyone was aware of.

Agree with PaS but would just add to avoid cereals and feeds that have high sugar/ starch. Also that some of the feeds that state they are designed for horses with ulcers aren't that great.

Feeding a scoop of chop before riding is also beneficial.
