Dumped, half-dead..

When I helped up there I had to bath little westies (puppy farmed) and their beautiful white coats were brown with urine stains and shite. And all the while they just looked up at me quietly, putting their trust in another human when someone had been so utterly foul to them. The good news is they all went on to have homes and are now happy and safe, but there's just waves and waves of them.

I'm not surprised these dogs were dumped. If you handed them in anywhere you would be worried about prosecution.

Kitsune: When did you help at MT? Did you know my little terrier Smiffy? He was there for quite a while and in the end by donation only. That would have been Oct 2008-March 2009.
 
christ. what with the poor pony being dragged and left for dead. words almost fail me. i hope there is a Hell for the kind of people who do this sort of thing.
thank goodness they found them, poor little mites.
reading that page... jeez. WHY do people still keep breeding dogs ffs? we have thousands too many already, desperate for homes. :( :( :(
 
Bless little Mercy, she has been for a tiny walk and looks up for it already and Pity is looking better than yesterday. I would not have believed such quick progress possible but it is amazing what a difference a couple of days treatment, care and food can make.
