Duplicate passport?

Hiya

I just did an NED search and it's come up with "Duplicate based on uncommon name". They are with different issuers.

Now I realise that typing in a name could bring up many horses, but my boys name is Blaenau Hall Sam...which is quite unusual?

They are both coming up as Piebald Geldings, and around the same age.

This might seem stupid as it could just be coincedence, but I was just wondering what you would do? Should I just leave it? Im just curious really!

If you bought him & can prove ownership & have one of these passports then I would contact both passport issuers & explain the situation & try to establish which is the genuine passport. Is he microchipped? If he is then Petlog will have a record of the registered owner at the time & that may match up with one of the passports. However only an authorised person can get this info from Petlog (eg your vet).
