My horse has been tested for allergies as he has had a rash for 6months. It came back he is allergic to dust mites. He is on a treatment but still keeps coming up in lumps. Ive changed his bedding, wash his rugs weekly, dust his stable weekly. I wash him in simple baby shampoo. But it seems whenever he gets hot it comes back. Anyone had similar experiences or have a horse with allergies to dust?

If I have a horse that gets skin problems for no obvious reason I use a detox, NAF detox or Global Herbs Restore have both had really good results.

Hi my horse has the same allergy but it was dust mites in hard feed that was the problem! Loads of lumps and coughing were the symptoms and she was treated for COPD before I got the allergy test. So now she is on a cereal free balancer and haylage and we haven't looked back. The mites attack the cereal grains so your horse could be injesting the mites through feed. I don't think any amount of washing will help you have to get the root cause. HTH

No worries it's top spec leisure time balancer but all their balancers are cereal free. I sound like an advert but they have been a life saver for me. Best of luck xx
