Dust free bedding?

Hi all, my horse has a dust allergy and I'm just wondering what bedding would be suitable (definitely not straw!). If anyone knows anything relatively cheap as shavings around my area are pretty pricey! thank you

Best for dust allergies is shredded cardboard

I use straw pellets under Bedmax - works well. And FAIRLY economic (I have 27 stables and 30 horses stabled - that's 2 weanlings to a box included.) There's no way of doing THAT cheap! But it does remain dust free.

Well its not cheap but if shavings is expensive you may as well pay a little extra and have aubiose which is 10x better especially with regards to being dust free. I find you use less with aubiose then shavings anyway so after the initial outlay the cost per week is cheaper than shavings.

I have tried various brands of dust free shavings and the most user-friendly and economical seems to be Bedmax. A modest bed on top of rubber mats, with no banks, seems to work for our dust allergic pony.
